"We should support Shenzhen to play its role as a global ocean center and an international mangrove center, and join hands with Hong Kong and Macao to construct an international blue carbon trading center," said Wu Xiaoli, deputy to the Guangdong Provincial People's Congress and planning director of Shenzhen Qianhai-Shekou Free Trade Investment Development Co., Ltd, at the second deputy passage interview on January 24.
Wu answered GDToday reporter’s question on social concerns and building beautiful cities during the Guangdong Provincial People's Congress held from Jan 23 to 25.
She pointed out that a healthy lifestyle has become a new fashion among Shenzhen people. She also made suggestions that Shenzhen should improve the construction of greenways, green roads, and ancient post roads, connecting ecological corridors in the province.
