China has adopted a collaborative approach through BRI: Former Vice President of World Bank

Themed "Multilateralism: More Exchanges, Greater Inclusiveness and Cooperation," the 2023 Imperial Springs International Forum (ISIF) is taking place in Guangzhou, the capital city of South China's Guangdong province, from December 3 to 5.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).

"The West's positions seem to be frequently marked by double standards. The application of war or sanctions in the Global South is never clearly justified. Now, China, (which) must be noted, is different. It has adopted a collaborative approach through its Belt and Road Initiative, BRI, which over the 10 years of existence has now established a collaborative framework with 155 countries," said Ismail Serageldin, Former Vice President of World Bank, during the Plenary Discussion held on December 4.
