On the evening of October 16, the 13th China International Folk Art Festival was held at the Foshan Cantonese Opera Theatre in Chancheng District, Foshan.
This is the first time the festival has been hosted in Guangdong Province, with Foshan serving as the main venue. Under the theme "Cross Mountains & Seas for a Shared Future," art troupes from 14 countries across five continents gathered in Foshan to perform alongside local artists, presenting audiences with a spectacular visual and musical feast.
For many foreign performers, this is their first time in Foshan—and even their first visit to China. What kind of performances will they bring? And what are their impressions of this city? At the rehearsal venue, reporters interviewed several international troupe members for their thoughts and stories.
