On December 17th, the National Immigration Administration of China announced the extension of the visa-free transit stay from the previous 72 or 144 hours to 240 hours (10 days), giving international travellers more time to explore China.
On the very same day, nearly 100 travel agents and influencers from countries like the Republic of Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, and the U.S. were touring Guangdong to explore the province's food, culture and landscapes.
