"I want to share the beauty of Bao'an with the world"

"I have lived in Shenzhen for 6 years. People often ask me why I chose this city. I think videos are the most direct way to answer."

Tim Ramak, an Australian living and working in Qianhai and Bao'an, is a fitness coach. A year ago, he began sharing his fresh experiences in Shenzhen on his social media accounts through videos.

Tim enjoys cycling and has a keen interest in high-tech products. In his spare time, he rides his bike through the streets and alleys of Bao'an. "Every day I explore Bao'an and Qianhai, and I'm still amazed by the rapid growth of this area," said Tim.

Supercharging, the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link, contactless payment, drone food delivery... Tim is always eager to try out new innovations in the city. Through Tim's lens, viewers can see various aspects of Bao'an and Shenzhen, from high-tech facilities, natural environments, to traditional culture and regular community events.

Over the past 20 years, Tim has lived in 5 countries and 7 cities. The reason he chose Bao'an and Qianhai area, not only because they are the heart of technology, but also due to their many similarities with his hometown Brisbane: well-developed infrastructure, convenient living, innovation-oriented, and even a beautiful Ferris wheel.

Recently, Tim discovered that Shenzhen and Brisbane have been sister cities since 1992. He hopes to leverage this friendly relationship by helping more Brisbane companies establish themselves in Shenzhen while also introducing Bao'an to Australia, facilitating more frequent and in-depth communication between the two cities. "Through exchanges and mutual learning, create a better future for both," said Tim.
