The "First Writing Ceremony" or "Po Meng", is a traditional enlightenment ceremony, where children begin their literacy and etiquette education.
It is celebrated as one of the "Four Great Rites of Life". Through first writing with a master, the release of dreams and other rituals, they embark on a new chapter in their lives.
