Themed "Multilateralism: More Exchanges, Greater Inclusiveness and Cooperation," the 2023 Imperial Springs International Forum (ISIF) is taking place in Guangzhou, the capital city of South China's Guangdong province, from December 3 to 5.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).
"More than 150 countries have signed the BRI agreement with China. All of them joined this project voluntarily," said Vladimir Norov, former Secretary-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, as well as former Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
He stated that China built an expressway between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan with a special terrace to protect people from snow or stones coming down. In his opinion, this is one of the best expressways in the region.
