Lights, camera, action: Robot's hollywood journey

On March 16, Shenzhen Nanshan-based AI company EngineAI Robotics released a creative video featuring its humanoid robot PM01 performing the iconic Futou Bang (Axe Gang) dance from Stephen Chow's classic film "Kung Fu."

In the video, PM01 flawlessly executed a range of dance moves, including leg kicks and body rotations, in perfect sync with the music. Its movements and rhythm matched those of human dancers with astonishing precision, demonstrating its superior motion accuracy and coordination.

The video reimagines iconic scenes from film history through a technological lens, showcasing breakthrough progress in the field of humanoid robotics. It is reported that EngineAI Robotics utilized optical motion capture to collect a vast amount of human movement data. By integrating end-to-end neural network learning and adversarial networks, PM01 can continuously trial and error in simulated complex environments, growing rapidly to achieve customized actions.

From front flips to sprinting, EngineAI Robotics' humanoid robot PM01 continues to push the boundaries of technological innovation. The recent integration of cutting-edge technology with a classic IP marks a new possibility for the application of humanoid robots in everyday life.
