Canton Tower witnesses romantic vows, African couple find Chimelong Safari Park "just like home"

On September 16th, 100 couples gathered at the Canton Tower in Guangzhou to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival with a Lingnan-style adventure. Nine newlyweds sealed their love with a breathtaking vow ceremony, turning the iconic skyscraper into a romantic backdrop.

The ceremony was a delightful experience for married couples as well. Ronnie and Ekaterina, who have been married for eight years, expressed their joy in witnessing the heartfelt vows exchanged by the nine blissful newlyweds. "This love makes the city a link between couples, and we feel the same emotion and happiness for them," Ronnie shared.

Following the ceremony, the couples embarked on a journey that included a milestone moment – making their marks on Guangzhou's iconic Haixin Bridge — and then headed to Chimelong Safari Park.

For a particular couple from Tanzania, Piniel and Woku, Chimelong Safari Park was a delightful reminder of their home. "There were so many animals here, just like in our country," they said. "It was like a reflection of our home place."
