Chancheng District wins over world-renowned photojournalists

From November 13 to 23, invited by GDToday, four world-renowned photojournalists are touring Guangdong. Among them are winners of the most prestigious awards in photojournalism, including the Pulitzer Prizes, the World Press Photo, and NPPA Best of Photojournalism. For the last two days of their journey, they arrived at their final destination - Chancheng District, Foshan, Guangdong.

Focusing on Foshan's cultural heritage, the two-day visit in Chancheng District allowed four world-renowned photojournalists to engage with the district's cultural legacy. They were captivated by the vibrant lion dance at the Zumiao, while reveling in the grace of Wing Chun at the Liang Garden, indulging themselves in the beauty of Chancheng. The group was struck by the tasty food in Chancheng as well. "I don't believe that I eat too much food. They are so good. I tried to stop. Why do I eat them just before going home!" said Nick Ut, the Pulitzer Prize winner for Spot News Photography.

At the end of the year, the works of four photojournalists are set to be exhibited in Guangzhou and possibly in Los Angeles in the future. By the time of the photography exhibition, the international community will have the opportunity to experience Chancheng District's allure.
