This year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Malaysia. Cuisine has served as a bridge to promote people-to-people exchanges between the two nations.
On September 22, 2024, the first themed cultural restaurant, "Namseng Ltd", opened in the Congshanfang Historical District of Zhongshan, featuring Malaysian Baba Nyonya cuisine as its signature dish. Recently, Dato' Lillian Tong introduced Malaysian Baba Nyonya culture to the host of Zhongshan Daily in this themed cultural restaurant.
