On the second day of their visit to Guangdong Province, the Nauru Parliament delegation, led by Speaker Marcus Stephen, traveled to Jiangmen, often recognized as the ancestral hometown of most Chinese living in Nauru.

Their itinerary included visits to the China Qiaodu Museum of Overseas Chinese, which celebrates the rich history and contributions of the Chinese diaspora, and the local branch of Anhui Conch Cement, China's largest cement producer. And the delegation also explored Birds' Paradise, a unique tourist attraction renowned for its picturesque natural environment and diverse birdlife.

Nauru, a small island nation in the Pacific with a population of just over 10,000, is known for its rich phosphate deposits. Earlier this year, Nauru resumed diplomatic relations with China and affirmed its commitment to the one-China principle, signaling a new chapter of bilateral cooperation.
