From September 4th to 6th, the 2024 Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) Summit, themed "Joining Hands to Advance Modernization and Build a High-Level China-Africa Community with a Shared Future," is being held in Beijing. At the summit, leaders from China and Africa are convening to strengthen their relationships and map out joint initiatives for cooperation.
According to the latest data released by China's General Administration of Customs, in the first seven months of this year, China's total trade volume with Africa reached 1.19 trillion RMB, marking a year-on-year increase of 5.5% and setting a historical record for this period.
