Dongguan held its annual High-quality Development Conference on February 6, the second working day after the Chinese New Year holiday, following the Guangdong Provincial High-quality Development Conference.
In 2024, Dongguan adhered to the principle of prioritizing the manufacturing industry, driving regional GDP growth by 4.6% and reaching a new milestone of 1.2 trillion yuan.
At the meeting, Secretary of CPC Dongguan Municipal Committee Wei Hao stated that in 2025, Dongguan plans to achieve GDP growth of over 5%, intensifying the development of "AI+" and accelerating the establishment of a modern industrial system.
