Key developments include the collaborative mechanism with Macao that has undergone constant refinement and optimization, the launch of a closed-loop customs operation in March 2024, which has opened new opportunities for businesses within the region by reducing customs and operational costs, and legal integration within the Greater Bay Area, which has seen major strides, as the number of law firms and practicing lawyers in Hengqin has significantly increased.
