In 2023, the century-old Guangzhou Baiyun Railway Station reopened after renovations. The State Council issued a plan for the Shenzhen Park of the Hetao Shenzhen-Hong Kong Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation Zone (HTCZ). The underwater tunnels of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link were connected, signifying the completion of the Link.
