World's first weightlifting museum opens in Dongguan

On October 16, in Shilong Town, Dongguan, the world's first weightlifting-themed museum officially opened its doors. 

The grand opening saw the presence of the President of the International Weightlifting Federation(IWF) and nine notable Chinese champion weightlifters. 

As a new cultural landmark, this museum not only honors China's rich history in weightlifting but also solidifies Shilong's reputation as the famous "Weightlifting Town of China."

The champions explored the museum, excitedly discovering their own handprints and achievement displays. 

Later, the delegation, led by the IWF President toured the museum's TEAM CHINA merchandise store, exploring exclusive products that celebrate the spirit of Chinese weightlifting.
