The inaugural ceremony of the GDToday Think Tank (GDTT) and the International Communication Seminar on “Understanding the Greater Bay Area” took place on December 4 at the Understanding China Conference in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province.
Jusuf Wanandi, co-founder of the Centre for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), expressed his congratulations on the establishment of GDTT during the seminar. He emphasized that regional institutions like GDTT will play a key role in studying and forecasting new global development trends, while also contributing to the advancement of Asia.
The GDToday Think Tank is a media-driven think tank established by Nanfang Media Group. It plays a pivotal role in the Group's efforts to drive the integrated development of GDToday, the Group's international media organization.
The think tank's core focus areas include conducting regional and country-specific studies, as well as analyzing the global landscape of public opinion. GDTT produces and publishes research reports, organizes forums and salons, and hosts various events, such as international economic, trade, and cultural exchange activities. By cultivating a cohesive international 'circle of friends' who understand and support China, GDTT aims to provide valuable insights and strategic recommendations to advance the high-quality development of international communication.
