"China sees Africa as a place to partner with Africa, and its more than 50 countries," said Harvey Dzodin, a former legal advisor in the Carter administration and a senior fellow at the Center for China and Globalization. He explained the mutual benefits, noting, "There's immense synergy between them."
On China's role, he remarked, "China possesses the technology that can take Africa itself to the next level, and also can bring Africa more into the position of being a partnering country with the rest of the world."
He concluded with optimism about the ongoing partnership: "I think it's literally a case of the sky is the limit for the cooperation between China and Africa."
