This year marks the 700th anniversary of Marco Polo's passing, and the opera "Marco Polo" is set to be restaged at the Guangzhou Opera House on May 3 and 4. Meanwhile, GDToday will host a salon event on May 4, inviting the creators of the opera as well as many contemporary "Marco Polos" from Italy to share their stories.
