On the evening of 29 September, Guangdong Province held a National Day reception to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. Chinese and foreign guests celebrated together and wished China prosperity, strength, and its people happiness and well-being.
Guan Jiacheng gave an example of the development in Guangdong Province from his own experience. He compared the changes in transportation for the 30-kilometer journey from his hometown, Jiujiang, to Foshan city.
The highway is spreading all over Guangdong Province like people's arteries extending in all directions now.
"Better transportation brings more wealth." As a Cantonese, he is very proud of the achievements of Guangdong.
