"These vehicles made in Guangdong offer a promising and enjoyable mode of transportation; they represent the direction that future transportation methods are likely to take!" On April 16th, invited by the "I See China" project by the Yangcheng Evening News, Abdo, a Dominican student studying at Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, took on the role of "Canton Fair Explorer," accompanying reporters to explore the Canton Fair, especially to experience the exhibits that best showcase "new quality productive forces."

This wasn't Abdo's first time at the Canton Fair. His family runs a shoe and clothing business in the Middle East, and the fair is a crucial platform for their enterprise to seek opportunities. Since coming to study in Guangzhou last year, Abdo hasn't missed the fair. He told reporters, "In the future, I may expand my own business, and whatever I do, it will inevitably involve Chinese manufacturing, so visiting the Canton Fair can bring me a lot of useful information."
Upon entering the exhibition hall, Abdo headed straight to the local Guangdong brand's new energy vehicle exhibition area. This area can be considered a "must-visit" spot in the fairgrounds, with almost every new energy vehicle surrounded by a large number of buyers. Abdo had to wait in long queues just to sit in the cars.
"Whether it's my hometown in Dominica or where my family is currently based in the UAE, buying Chinese new energy vehicles isn't as convenient yet. I'd like to bring one back from China," Abdo said.

Next to the new energy vehicle exhibition area, a booth showcasing "bionic hands" drew considerable attention. Staff explained to Abdo that these bionic hands can translate consciousness from the brain into actual movements. Abdo remarked that such high-tech products would undoubtedly be very helpful for those in need of assistance.
Later, Abdo and the reporters visited the home appliance exhibition area. As a fan of soccer and e-sports, Abdo is very familiar with China's high-definition display industry because Chinese companies often sponsor or supply products for these two industries. "Chinese TVs and monitors are of high quality. Whether watching soccer or playing games on them, the experience is excellent!" Abdo exclaimed.
While exploring the exhibition hall, Abdo was suddenly drawn to an electric massage chair exhibition area. However, this area also attracted many international visitors and experiencing it required waiting in line. Finally sitting down, Abdo closed his eyes to carefully feel the massage. "It's really comfortable. I almost fell asleep!" he said.

After walking about ten thousand steps in the afternoon, Abdo and the reporters only covered a small part of the Canton Fair, but they could already fully sense the speed of China's manufacturing development. "After visiting the Canton Fair today, we can see that the new quality productive forces are very close to us. The latest products we tried today can make our lives better and more convenient!" Abdo concluded excitedly.
