Lyu Jia, Principal Cello of the Macao Orchestra, performed The Swan by French composer Charles Camille Saint-Saens on June 8 at the Sub-forum on Building up the Cultural Strength of the Greater Bay Area (GBA). The sub-forum formed part of the Forum on Building up China's Cultural Strength.
Lü said that swans are social animals and need to coordinate with each other. It symbolizes that mainland, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan work together to inherit and innovate Chinese culture.
