Dragon-boating: From tradition to global sport, uniting cultures worldwide

This year's event features 111 teams and nearly 4,000 participants from all over the globe, including the US, Canada, Kazakhstan, and China's Hong Kong and Macao.

In this vlog, you will dive into the vibrant world of dragon-boating, and meet passionate local rowers, like the inspiring ladies of the Lunjiao Dragon Boat Team from Foshan, international competitors from the Kazakhstan Knights, and the veterans from the Guangzhou International Dragon Boat Team. Some organized their own team in their home country after experiencing dragon-boating in China. Some have been participating in the dragon boat races in Guangzhou for over a decade.
