The ShenZhong Link, a massive cross-sea passage in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area that features two bridges, two artificial islands and an underwater tunnel, opened to traffic at 3 p.m. on Sunday (June 30th).
Jerry Grey, a senior British media commentator who has lived in Zhongshan for nearly 20 years, expressed his admiration for the hard work and strong perseverance in the construction of the ShenZhong Link, as it has set several world records. He stated that after witnessing the completion of major projects such as the ShenZhong Link, the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, and China's high-speed rail, he deeply felt that Chinese-style modernization is achieved through one super project after another.
