During the interview with an SFC reporter, Angel Prieto, Vice President of External Affairs and Director at ANCES, highlighted the organization's goals for this year's participation in the China International Import Expo (CIIE). ANCES will bring 20 innovative startups from Spain to the 7th CIIE, where they will showcase their groundbreaking achievements across various fields. "Our goal first is to bring in a number big enough of startups that can develop their technology and business here in China," said Prieto.
This echoes China's continued efforts in pursuing high-standard opening up and leveraging the strengths of China's enormous market.
Prieto emphasized the strategic importance of forming partnerships with Chinese firms to facilitate joint ventures that promote the sharing of technology and resources. He expressed optimism about the potential for cooperation in areas such as intelligent manufacturing and cybersecurity, and underscored the mutual benefits of closer ties between European and Chinese enterprises. With a hopeful outlook, Prieto envisions that in the future, there is great potential for cooperation.
