"China's rural governance planning is an excellent model worth learning from," presented by Armindo da Luz, First Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Cape Verde.
It was the first time for Armindo da Luz to travel through China with the African Portuguese-speaking Countries Parliamentarians Seminar in early July. When visiting a village in Guizhou province, he emphasized the word "planning" to an SFC journalist, as he thought China's experiences in development planning were fundamental to improving the construction of villages, cities, islands, and the entire country.
Armindo da Luz was amazed by the decent living environment the villagers have. "No matter which corner of the village you are in, you can access water and electricity, and the sewage system covers the entire village," he expressed.
