Guangdong on Sept. 29 hosted a grand reception to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China (PRC).
Siu Kin-po, Deputy Director-general of Guangzhou Center, The Hong Kong Federation of Trade Unions shared with Daily Bae at the event that a pair of giant pandas gifted by the central government to the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) of China arrived in Hong Kong Sept. 26. The arrival of the giant pandas has sparked immense excitement among the public. Everyone is eagerly looking forward to their first encounter with the beloved giant pandas.
