On December 7th, the announcement ceremony for the host city of the 34th ITTF-ATTU Asian Cup 2025 took place in Chengdu, China. During the ceremony, ATTU President Khalil Al-Mohannadi announced that, after thorough preliminary inspections, it was decided that the 34th Asian Cup would be held at the Shenzhen Universiade Center from February 19th to 23rd, 2025.

The Asian Table Tennis Union (ATTU) was officially established in May 1972 in Beijing and is one of the continental members recognized by the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF), responsible for the management of table tennis in the Asian region. Today, the ATTU boasts 44 members and stands as one of the largest sports organizations in Asia. Among its events, the Table Tennis Asian Cup (hereinafter referred to as the Asian Cup) is one of the most important competitions organized by the ATTU and serves as a qualification event for the ITTF World Cup.
This year, Shenzhen won the right to host the 34th Asian Cup thanks to its excellent venue facilities and rich experience in hosting tournaments.

Shenzhen Universiade Center
Shenzhen Universiade Center, situated in the eastern central Longgang District of Shenzhen, comprises a stadium, a gymnasium, and a natatorium.
