The 2024 Global Investment Promotion Conference for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area kicked off on November 8 in Guangzhou. One of the key highlights of this event, the GDToday Salon Sharing Session on Foreign Trade, Foreign Investment, Outsourcing, Foreign Economic Cooperation, and Foreign Intellectual Resources, launched on the afternoon of the same day at the Guangzhou International Convention Center.
The sharing session featured roundtable discussions centred around three major topics: "New Opportunities in the Greater Bay Area," "Investing in the Greater Bay Area," and "The Greater Bay Area in the Eyes of the Media."
In the second discussion, "Investing in the Greater Bay Area", Akihiko Ishihara, Director of the Board and Foshan Area Regional General Manager of Toray Membrane (Foshan) Co., Ltd., shared his feelings about the business environment in the Greater Bay Area, especially in Guangdong Province. From his own experience, he hoped to be deeply involved in Guangdong in the future.
