On October 6, the Young People's Chorus of New York City visited Shenzhen Senior High School.
During the visit, the youths from Shenzhen and New York exchanged gifts and sang famous songs in Chinese and English together, such as "Jasmine", "Try Everything" and "Baby".
Devin Hayes, member of the Young People's Chorus of New York City indicated that she can have good communication with Chinese youths, although they speak different language.
“They were so good and we just exchanged our songs and their song. It was incredible to teach another song to them. Language is not a barrier.” said she.
