On the evening of 29 September, Guangdong Province held a National Day reception to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. Chinese and foreign guests celebrated together and wished China prosperity, strength, and its people happiness and well-being.
Jason Le Yu, project director of China-LAC Technology Transfer Center indicated that it was natural for them to land in Guangdong, because Guangdong had been the number one in GDP in China for 35 consecutive years.
