It's the Year of the Snake. Guangdong is rolling out tons of New Year celebrations this year. For people who want to spend the Chinese New Year in Guangdong, it might be a lit difficult to decide their destination, due to the abundant activities across the region.
Michael Zhang, Consul General of New Zealand in Guangzhou, revealed one of his top favorites to GDToday. "One of my favorite spots is Dongshankou; it has a rich blend of culture and new energy," he said, "And the old city area and historical sites mixed with the latest youth culture, food and fashion provide a really fascinating contrast."
