The Qingyuan maglev tourism line officially started trial operation on Sunday (Feb 4). It's Guangdong's first and China's fourth medium-and-low speed maglev tourism line.
Construction of the line started in December 2017 and rolled off assembly line in September 2022. The total length for trial operation is 8.014 kilometers, and the design speed for the train is 120 kilometers per hour.
