The GDToday Qingyuan Channel was officially launched on September 23.
As the second GDToday city channel launched by Nanfang Media Group in collaboration with cities from eastern, western, and northern Guangdong, this new platform will focus on the priorities of Qingyuan city. Managed by a professional bilingual (Chinese and English) team, the channel will highlight major events, projects, and platforms in Qingyuan while enhancing the city's global communication efforts. The goal is to make GDToday Qingyuan Channel a key window to present Qingyuan's voice and image on the world stage.

GDToday is a media outlet under the Nanfang Media Group, dedicated to international communication. As Guangdong's leading platform for international communication and the primary source for the world to learn about Guangdong, GDToday offers accurate and timely news reports as well as a wide range of audio-visual services in English, Portuguese, French, and other foreign languages, along with Cantonese and other dialects. In addition, GDToday organizes cultural activities to share China's stories, especially those of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and Guangdong. Serving as the flagship for international communication in the Greater Bay Area, GDToday acts as a bridge connecting China with the rest of the world. During the launch of the GDToday Qingyuan Channel, congratulatory video messages were sent by overseas Chinese national leaders and outstanding overseas Chinese youths.
Klaus Zenkel, Vice President of the European Chamber of Commerce in China and Chair of the South China Chapter, said in his video message that Qingyyuan is a remarkable city with incredible potential. "Its strategic location, natural beauty and vibrant business environment make it an attractive destination for both entrepreneurs and investors," Zenkel said, "I am excited to see this new platform promoting the best aspects of Qingyuan that make this city special."
Alessandro Lamantia, Board member of the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, believes that the GDToday Qingyuan Channel will provide interesting information and news about this exciting area and deliver them to all audiences, letting more and more people be more familiar with Qingyuan city.
Rafael Saavedra, GDToday Stringer from Venezuela, is a vlogger who has visited Qingyuan several times. Saavedra recalled in his video message, "each visit was a wonderful experience. When I went there, I loved to enjoy the scenery, tranquility, and harmony that can only be found in this beautiful city." He believes the GDToday Qingyuan Channel is an excellent platform for showcasing the beauty and information about this amazing city."
Elizaveta Vede, an international student from Jinan University, also had an incredibly beautiful experience exploring both the town and the countryside in Qingyuan in June this year. Vede said it was a journey filled with memorable insights, sights, sounds, and stories.
