Falling around March 21st every year, Spring Equinox is one of the twenty-four solar terms in China. During Spring Equinox, day and night are of equal length, and the weather is neither hot nor cold.
Before Spring Equinox on March 10th, China, Iran, and Saudi Arabia decided to reestablish diplomatic ties and work together to achieve success. To put it diplomatically, it is a big deal that multiple touring products to Iran are completely sold out.
On the day of Spring Equinox, Hosseinali Darvishi Motevalli, Consul-General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Guangzhou, with host Vivian Ma tastes the Chinese toon, which is a seasonal ingredient known as the "vegetable on the tree", and experience the traditional customs of Spring Equinox: flying a kite and getting an egg to stand up.
In return, Mr. Darvishi invites Vivian to the Iranian community to celebrate the Iranian New Year "Nowruz". Around the festive "Haft-sin", they make a simple and delicious Iranian dessert, Sholeh Zard, with Iranian friends, and witness a "sweet moment" between China and Iran.
When Spring Equinox meets the Iranian New Year "Nowruz", let's continue and carry forward the traditional Silk Road civilization between China and Iran. We should catch every chance to develop and jointly create the grand scene of "countless flowers blooming in spring".
