Feli, a trader from the Democratic Republic of Congo, visited a wholesale market in Guangzhou's Dashatou area on September 4. He's been doing business in Guangdong for 23 years, speaks fluent Chinese, and is a big fan of Cantonese cuisine. He can even hum a few classic Cantonese songs with ease.
Feli shared that for most African traders, Guangzhou is the first stop when arriving in China. "The city is full of energy and constantly developing. For me, Guangzhou is already a second home," he said.
