On September 22, reporters from GDToday came to the Main Media Center (MMC) of the 19th Hangzhou Asian Games and enjoyed a unique experience.
MMC has nearly 50,000 square meters. In addition to work, it provides services to meet the daily needs of journalists with post offices, supermarkets, cafes, express delivery, as well as place for sleeping.
Journalists from all over the world can learn Chinese culture through cultural interactive activities, such as Traditional Chinese Medical Massage and tea art. And as a traditional part of sports games, journalists enjoy exchanging pins with everyone at the center for fun and friendship.
"This is my first time in Hangzhou, but then the second time in China. I visit Shenzhen and Shanghai for the World Cup basketball. The MMC in Hangzhou is very beautiful and all thing is good. All volunteers help us. It's amazing, ” said Zaid Abusway, a journalist from Jordan.
The opening ceremony of the 19th Hangzhou Asian Games will be held on September 23. More than 10,000 reporters will participate in the coverage of the Games.
