Cy S.Feng: Linking Zhongshan to the world

Before the age of 11, Cy S.Feng was a child living in Shaxi, Zhongshan. And the area around the Dupo Bridge, ancient camphor trees, and ancestral temples in Chongbian Village were all places where he and his friends played to their hearts' content.

41 years later, as the director of the International Department at the Kapiolani Community College of the University of Hawaii, Cy S.Feng has become accustomed to a "flying" lifestyle. Despite his busy schedule, he still takes the time to return to his hometown of Zhongshan to build bridges between Chinese and foreign cultures, education, and economic exchanges.

Cy S.Feng has visited the construction of the ShenZhong Link in the Lingding Ocean. This project will accelerate the integrated development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Cy S.Feng is deeply moved. He said, "China's development is changing rapidly. I encourage the new generation of overseas Chinese to visit their hometown more often. This is not only a cultural exploration but also an opportunity to make new friends and embrace more opportunities."
