"We do not accept groundless accusations against China. They basically stir up trouble, create division, incite confrontation and disrupt the Asia-Pacific region," noted Hu Gangfeng, the lead of the Chinese delegation at the 2025 Shangri-La Dialogue. He made the claim at the 22nd Shangri-La Dialogue on May 31.
Hu further underlined that the aim of Shangri-La Dialogue is to study problems, not to create problems, to reduce differences, not to expand differences. He proposed that all parties should exchange frankly, increase trust and dispel doubts.
Provided countries with different national conditions, Chinese representative voiced to seek common ground while reserving differences in the era of civilization in the 21st century.
