WWII photo album donor Evan Kail wishes to promote peace amid China-US tensions

On April 22, Evan Kail, a US antique dealer and social media influencer, visited the Chen Clan Ancestral Hall in Guangzhou. In 2022, Kail gained massive attention on social media for donating a World War II photo album documenting Japanese war crimes in China.

During his visit to Guangzhou, he expressed that, as an ordinary citizen, he hopes to use his personal experiences in China to break Western media biases and promote peace between China and the US. "This is more important now than ever when we have tensions," he said.
