On the evening of 29 September, Guangdong Province held a National Day reception to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. Guests from different areas celebrated together and wished China prosperity, strength, and people happiness and well-being.
Lu Liqin, General Manager of Guangzhou Xiaolu Gemstone Co., Ltd., Executive Vice President of the Guangzhou Taiwan-funded Enterprise Association, and President of Huadu Taiwan-funded Enterprise Association, shared her feelings as a Taiwan businesswoman who has been living and doing business in Guangdong for more than 20 years.
She came to Guangdong in the early reform and opening-up period in the 1990s and has witnessed the rapid development of Guangdong's economy. She has experienced the local diversified cultural atmosphere.
As a Taiwan businesswoman, she deeply feels for cross-Strait relations. She is full of enthusiasm for the land of Guangdong, which she has already treated as her home, and hopes to continue to promote cross-Strait exchanges in the future.
