“Since the opening of the new library in 2014, we have collaborated on organizing 50 events in eight series. We established a friendly library relationship and an Italian language book section”, said Fang Jiazhong, Director of Guangzhou Library and Knight of the Order of the Star of Italian Solidarity, at “An Encounter With Marco Polo” GDToday Salon held on May 4 in Guangzhou. “My expectation is that we can collaborate on more such activities to promote mutual understanding, friendship, and common progress though exchanges”.
