The 13th Guangdong Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) held its second session on the morning of January 22 in Guangzhou. Over 700 Guangdong provincial CPPCC members and more than 200 attendees gathered at the Baiyun International Conference Center."This is the second time my proposal has been rated as excellent. I'm really inspired. I feel that it fully reflects the Guangdong CPPCC's function of political participation and consultation," Adam Kwok, the standing committee member of the Guangdong Provincial CPPCC and executive director of Sun Hung Kai Properties said.This year, he brought a new proposal for the interconnectivity of the GBA cities. "One of my proposals is that the southern extension line of Guangzhou Metro Line 22 can connect the three cities, going from Guangzhou South Railway Station directly to Qingsheng Station, to Nansha District Government in Jiaomen, to Humen, Dongguan, and finally to Shenzhen. If this one-hour express line can connect three cities, I think this will be a very important infrastructure project," he said.
