Co-organized by Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and People's Government of Guangdong Province, the 5th Forum on China-Africa Local Government Cooperation was held in Guangzhou, the capital of Guangdong Province on July 9th.
Mohamed Omary Mchengerwa, the Minister of Local Government and Regional Administration at Tanzania President's Office, told GDToday reporter at the forum that Tanzania and China had a long history of cooperation and great relations since the 1960s and the two countries are now cooperating in many major projects. "I must say that we have had a lot of experience from China, because we have been working together," he said.
