Themed "Multilateralism: More Exchanges, Greater Inclusiveness and Cooperation," the 2023 Imperial Springs International Forum (ISIF) is taking place in Guangzhou, the capital city of South China's Guangdong province, from December 3 to 5.
"The questions in our meeting are: how do we go beyond what exists in terms of the reform of the international system, and how do we see the role of China," said Danilo Türk, former President of Slovenia and President of World Leadership Alliance — Club de Madrid, during the Plenary Discussion held on December 4.
He noted that the Proposal of the People's Republic of China on the Reform and Development of Global Governance, released by the Chinese Foreign Ministry on September 13, has defined the specific priorities in addressing global challenges and is "a very valuable contribution to the international debate."
"China is positioning itself very well in global governance through the Proposal and a whole set of initiatives the country has proposed," Türk said.
