Guangzhou International Light Festival 2023 to be held from Nov 21st to 30th

The 12th Guangzhou International Light Festival 2023 will be held from November 21st to 30th, which is the first offline activity since 2020

This festival will take place at the new central axis venue, which includes Huacheng Square, Haixinsha Asian Games Park, and Canton Tower. There will also be venues on both sides of the Pearl River, including the facades of 24 buildings on Yanjiang Road, Haixin Bridge, and Liede Bridge.

The festival will showcase a total of 25 groups of light and shadow artworks, which will be illuminated at the opening ceremony. They will be distributed in Huacheng Square, Haixinsha Asian Games Park and Canton Tower, using advanced technologies such as light and shadow stage installations, 3D imaging, holographic projection, and AR to show diverse and innovative lighting works.

As one of the three major lighting festivals in the world, the Guangzhou International Lighting Festival has attracted nearly 100 million visitors over the past ten years.

Reservation Guide

The main venue of the Haixinsha Asian Games Park for this year's Light Festival will be completely closed, and reservations are required for visits.

Starting from November 18th, tourists can enter the reservation interface by following the official WeChat accounts of "Guangzhou International Lighting Festival"(广州国际灯光) and "Guangzhou Haixinsha"(广州海心沙) and make reservations with valid ID numbers. Visitors who have made a successful reservation can enter the venue on the reserved date and session with their ID.

Special Reminder

The pedestrian passages on the west side of Haixin Bridge and Liede Bridge will be diverted, and restricted management will be carried out from 17:00 to 23:00 from November 21st to November 30th.

After the lights are turned on on the evening of November 21st, the Haixinsha Asian Games Park area will be open to tourists who have made reservations.
