Maling botanical garden is located in the core area of the ecological and cultural tourism belt in the north of Huadu, covering an area of 12 square kilometers and with more than 3,000 flower varieties. This is also the first flower expo grand garden in China that focuses on the introduction and production of world-view flower plants and integrates scientific innovation, education and leisure.
There are many attractions for tourists to enjoy in the garden. There is a landscaped lake built around the Maling Reservoir for water activities. In the garden, there are the Flower Plant Research Institute, the Flower Art Expo, a tourist service center, a flower-specific star hotel, a flower-themed B&B, and a flower-themed commercial street.
