Do you enjoy visiting places of leisure and being surrounded by natural greenery? Now at some of such attractions in Guangdong, you can get a special passport and souvenir badges! Since June 1, a new round of Guangdong Culture and Tourism Passports have been available for the public. Residents and travelers can get passports at 12 scenic spots in the province and collect badges after having your passports stamped.
These scenic spots boast stunning natural landscapes, such as Danxia Mountain in Shaoguan, Lianzhou Underground River in Qingyuan, and Wanlv Lake in Heyuan. The 12 kinds of badges, inspired by the elements of these places, can be pieced together to form a kapok shape.

Shaoguan: Danxia Mountain scenic spot (丹霞山风景区), JinglvLun Cultural Tourism Town (经律论文化旅游小镇)

How to get a culture and tourism passport?
Offline: Go to the visitor centers, ticket counters and the like of one of the 12 tourist attractions and receive a free Guangdong Culture and Tourism Passport with your ID card, passport, or other identity document.
Online: Make an appointment via WeChat official account "神州印迹 (pinyin: shen zhou yin ji)" with ID cards. Hong Kong and Macao residents as well as expats can scan the code below for customer service and get the culture and tourism passport.
How to win souvenir badges?
At each scenic spot, people can win two random badges after having their passports stamped. After obtaining stamps for any 6 attractions, you can receive an extra "upgraded stamp" and a badge collection box at the Guangdong Tianlu Mountain Resort in Yunfu; if you have collected the stamps of all 12 scenic spots, you can receive a "grand slam ultimate stamp" at the Dayang International Eco Tourism Resort in Jieyang and have the chance to win a big prize.
