Where to view chrysanthemums, dragon and lion dances in Guangzhou

During the Chinese New Year holiday, Yuyin Shanfang Garden in Guangzhou's Panyu District will launch a variety of Spring Festival activities, such as a chrysanthemum exhibition, dragon and lion performances, a Chinese style gathering, a New Year market, welcoming the God of Wealth, and a calligraphy and painting exhibition.

The chrysanthemum exhibition will run from February 10 to 25, featuring over 70 varieties of chrysanthemums from home and abroad, as well as a display of flower arrangements.

From the second to the fourth day of the first lunar month (February 11 to 13), the garden will join hands with the local lion dance team to present dragon and lion dances, parades, and experiential activities.

From the first to the seventh day of the New Year holiday (February 10 to 16), people can take part in a Chinese New Year garden party, where they can buy souvenirs, encounter the God of Wealth, and participate in games to win gifts.

During the holiday, adult tickets for the garden are discounted at 20 percent (14 yuan/person). Don't miss out.
